Mt Cook - highest in NZ

Aotearoa - Land of the long white cloud

back to the North Island...

Tongariro Crossing

A brilliant walk, probably the best one ive ever done. 10 miles or so plus a climb (scramble)up this 2200m volcano below (and a fall down). Im not a Lord of the Rings fan myself, but for anyone who is apparently this was Mount Doom:

The Red Crater

The Emerald Lakes (with hot steam coming out of the ground)

View over Lake Taupo

Moving on towards the East Cape, this is sunset over the Bay of Plenty

Part 4 - Australia

The Pinnacles

Dolphins at Monkey Mia. I got to feed one of them

Cable Beach at sunset

Kakadu National Park

Sydney Harbour Bridge and Opera House. To get this view you have to walk round to Mrs MacQuaries point

These next few are actually from my last visit in 2005 but I thought id include them anyway:

Uluru

Summer Bay, which is set in Palm Beach just north of Sydney

Great Ocean Road
